Who are the Expo Tutors?
Who are the Expo tutors? Tutors Sharifa, Felicia, and Emmanuel with Program Associate Julie and Intern Emmanuel. They are funny and sassy, sometimes confident, sometimes shy. The group of tutors I know best is from Antoa SHS. Two days a week they teach Maths and English lessons at the local JHS, in partnership with their Program Associate who organizes and facilitates each tutoring session. On Wednesdays and Thursdays after their school day is over, the tutors walk the kilome

Interview with two new tutors
As the communication manager, I had the possibility of interviewing two former JHS students, Mahamudu Fatima and Enoch Karikari, who have become two of the new tutors for Exponential Education this term. Fatima and Enoch, who are 17 and 18 years old respectively, are both in Form 2 and will be graduating in 2016. Their favorite subjects are Social science and English. Charles believes that education is important because “without education, you can’t achieve your aims or your common goals in the world. Expo helps the SHS students to further their education. It helps the JHS to pass the

Clement Asante – Expo’s Latest Scholarship Winner
“I was lucky to be selected from among the tutors” Clement told me when he heard he had won a scholarship from Exponential Education. Humble to a fault, he had a hard time believing that he could have won. Clement, a twenty two year old high school graduate with a small frame and a big smile, grew up in Sakora Wonoo – a small village outside of Kumasi. He has five brothers and a sister. Clement is the second youngest. Before Expo hired him last spring, Clement was helping to
